The Hickory Goat-Karts identity is inspired by one of Hickory's first major industries, wagon making, as well as its deep history in racing. The colors come from Piedmont Wagon Company's famous green horse drawn wagons with red wheels and yellow trim. The company also had a model for kids that was pulled by goats, known as goat carts.

That deep green color really pops in person, way better than the photos suggested. The adjustable strap has a solid metal buckle and it actually stays put without digging into my head. Wore it to a cookout and got asked where I found it twice.

I picked this up at a game and the wagon-green color is such a nice change from the usual team hats. The adjustable strap fit my head fine and it's held its shape after a few wears.

The green on this cap is way deeper in person than the listing photo shows, and it pairs nicely with the wagon-wheel patch on the front. Strap adjusts easy and it's comfy enough to wear all day at the ballpark.
